figure competition prep. my daily journal


My sister asked me if my trainer is doing my eating plan for my prep. 

I thought I’d post about it in case someone else is wondering.

My trainer not telling me exactly what to eat. She wants to get me down to 17 or 18% body fat. So right now she’s having me eat 1350 calories per day + the amount I burn in the gym. So, I’m around 1600-1700 total calories per day. 

I’m hoping to be at 17% body fat by January. Then she’ll probably put me at ~2000 calories per day for 2-3 months. 

After that I’ll be back down to ~1350 calories total (per day) for the last 2-3 months. My macros are set at ~30% fat ~30% carbs, and ~40% protein right now. I’m not sure how that will change after January. 

I plan the foods I actually eat. I love researching and reading about  this stuff so I want to be the one to plan my meals. If for some reason, along the way, I’m not reaching my goals my trainer will evaluate what I’ve been eating and tweak it if she thinks she needs to.

That’s why I keep track of everything I eat.

I missed my weigh in last week because of Thanksgiving. So I have a weigh in tomorrow and then next week we’re checking my body fat.
