Half Marathon Training & Some "After" Pictures

So, yesterday, in order to get ready for our half marathon on July 21st.  Ben and I decided to run a half marathon.  Ya, that’s how we roll.  We pretty much do everything ass-backwards in life.  But it suits us.  We ran the Idaho Falls: Scenic River Classic.  To get ready for that half marathon, no we didn’t run a half marathon, we went to Teton Running Store and stocked up on all of our favorite running treats.  Some people hate this stuff, I happen to love it. All of it.  Especially the highly caffeinated treats.  I totally get off on these little power packed pouches of goodness. I think that is why I love my Keurig so much. Tiny cups of flavorful caffeine! OK, now this is getting weird, and my face is actually turning red.  I really did not mean for it to read like that.  You have a dirty mind!  I can’t help it I live with three boys/men.    But, I digress.  All in all, I think it went pretty well.  Ben “rocked it” for his first half marathon.  He finished it in ~2 hours and 4 minutes!  I finished in ~ 2 hours and 27 minutes. I finished DEAD LAST in my age division!  I almost finished DEAD LAST overall!  I was stressed out about it for nearly 11 miles.  In and around the last 2.1 miles I ended up passing five people. Phew…..  Race Pics Follow.
