2013 Food Blog Goals

OK, First things first.
 Now, Down to Business.

In 2013 I want the food part of this blog to be a little more structured so I am going to set a couple of goals for it as well.  I don’t think that it is really fair to just show naughty recipes when they constitute so little of what I truly eat.  I want to show more of what I eat on a daily basis because I enjoy it as well.  In the past year, I have actually come to really enjoy the days I eat healthy almost as much as our cheat days! This is especially true when I put in a little extra effort to come up with super tasty recipes and combinations of food.

Food Blog Goals:

-Publish one healthy recipe each week (call it, “Fit Recipe Friday”).

– Publish one naughty recipe each week (call it, “Sinful Recipe Sunday”).

By the end of the year I should have a pretty sweet collection of recipes and maybe I will be able to start working on a cookbook in earnest.

I am also going to start up my “Compelling Calorie Clues” again as well as the “Prepared Pantry Articles”.  Prepared Pantry articles will be about every two weeks or so, and Compelling Calorie Clues maybe once per week.

That about sums it up for my food blog goals.  If I can pull it off I think Julie’s Jazz will be an amusing place to stop by every once in a while for a little cheer and hopefully inspiration!

P.S.  I plan to scatter in book reviews, restaurant/food shop reviews, and giveaways as well.  Hopefully one per month of each!
