Everyday Life at Julie’s Jazz

I’ve been on Pinterest way too much lately!  It’s caused me to land on some pretty fancy lifestyle blogs. Which prompted me to take a good look at my home.  That towel rack came with the house and I bought towels to decorate it once.  We used them.  Now it just stays bare.  I can’t bring myself to care about decorative towels.  I’m sure other people feel the same way about stuff I deem important.  I’m missing the “desire to decorate my home” gene!everyday life at julies jazz 2

Ben bought that bright rug on clearance so his feet wouldn’t get muddy in the transition area at his last triathlon.  It was really soft so we decided to go ahead and use it in our bathroom.everyday life at julies jazz 2

My mother-in-law gave us this bakers rack when we got married.  On it are my work boots, an alarm clock, and my heart rate monitor. I rarely buy things just for decoration.

Here is the octo-star-cube of Sam’s that Will caused to explode last week.  I Googled how to put it back together and a nice British man helped me via YouTube!  everyday life at julies jazz 2-5

While trying to find the last piece of that cube in Sam’s room I ran into a wet and moldy carpet and wall.  I pulled it all apart.everyday life at julies jazz 2

With the help of my Dad we discovered these three little holes I drilled into the pipe about 2 years ago.  Yay, me!!!  Thanks for your help Dad!everyday life at julies jazz 2

White Boat Waterfall (our former betta-fish) perished last week.  Ben cleaned out the bowl and decided to sterilize it in the dishwasher.

Can’t wait to see what this week has in store!
