Final Weigh In! Bikini Run and Second Half Marathon

This is it!  I actually exceeded my goal!  This was my weigh in on Friday July 20th. the morning of the “bikini run.”  I am not quite sure when, but at some point since January 3rd., I decided that 125 lbs would be my goal weight.  My reasoning for this is because that was my weight when Ben and I met. Don’t worry, the battle is far from over!  In fact, it will never end until I am dead and gone.  Now, maintenance begins.  I have not quite decided how I will incorporate this into this blog, but I do plan on keeping you up to date on my maintenance.

This was at the “Sage Family Reunion Picnic” the day after the “bikini run.”  It was a little award ceremony for the “bikini run.” My sister-in-law, Rachel, came in 1st. Sam, my son, came in 2nd. John, my future cousin-in-law came in 3rd.  Blaine, my uncle, and I came in 4th and 5th.  We ran together so we finished at the same time.  My mother made the awards so she put me in 4th.  I love my Mom!
I remembered to bring my camera to our 2nd. half marathon. But, then I forgot to take any photos.  I came in ~ 1 minute slower than my first half, but I am totally fine with it because it was probably my best long run ever, and I still came in under 2.5 hours!  I just felt so good for the entire race.  Ben rocked it!  He shaved over 5 minutes off his time, and came in under 2 hours!

This is what 123 lbs. of me looks like.  These are not very good because I had to cut them up.  I did not get permission from anyone else to show them in their bikinis.  I am obviously not wearing a bikini, but I think you get the picture.  I am just not going to run in a bikini!  The only alterations I made to these are that I cut people out out and lightened them up a little.
So that’s that.  The end of my weight loss journey, and now on to my maintenance journey!
