Every Day Life at Julie's Jazz

Last week it rained and rained and rained!  My basement flooded, again!  This time it was game over for the carpet! Apparently we don’t have enough chew toys for our GSD Dallas because he felt the need to tear the downspout off the side of the house so he could have “it” for a chew toy!  We’ve always had problems with this particular window well.

There is an automatic water pump down in it.  But this storm seemed to have overwhelmed it and inadvertantly put the icing on the carpet cake!

Will helped me pull up the carpet (and carpet pad).  Ben hauled the carpet and pad to its new home.  It now partially covers the bottom of the Bonneville County Hatch Pit!

Rain, rain, go away, come again another day!

Bummer!! Is the flooding at least under control when Dallas doesn’t need a chew toy? Hopefully the Sheetrock and everything else is ok 🙂

Yes, it will all be OK! Thanks for asking! Luckily I have the most handy parents in the world!
