Sister "Stuff" Giveway

These are some photos taken, of my sister and me, over 10 years and 4 children ago.  I know there have been a few taken of us, together, since.  But they were taken with her camera and I do not have any of them.  Besides, I believe, in recent photos taken of the two of us together we were probably both pregnant and most likely huge.  Now that I think about it, the last time we were together we were both pregnant.  That means that it has been almost three years since we have seen each other, and we have never met each other’s two and a half year old children.  So, as you can imagine, I am super excited to see her, and meet them!
The other day I was thinking that it would be fun to put together a little welcome back to Idaho care package for Tara (my sister).  I wanted to include in it some things that she likes, or used to like, and that remind me of her.  Then I realized that this would be a fun giveaway, too.  So I put one package together for her and an identical package for one of my readers.  Now one of you can get to know my sister a little!
Included:
-2 Idaho Spuds (my sister’s most favorite candy bar)
-1 herbal tea sampler (Tara LOVEs herbal tea! I remember in her first apartment she dedicated an entire cupboard space to it, I bet she had 20 different boxes!)
-Toms of Maine toothpaste (fennel) (Tara hates mint, any flavor any type!)
-lip gloss (Tara is a hair, lotion, and lip care junkie, although she wears hardly any makeup.  She really likes things that smell unique, fruity or tropical, and fun.
-Panda Licorice, Honees Candy, and Sesame Candy (I do not know why, but it seemed like whenever we were downtown shopping she would buy these goodies).
-Silly Straws (I just saw these and remember the five of us kids fighting over them when we were little)
So here is the deal. In order to be entered into this giveaway just leave me a comment at the end of this post telling me if you have a sister and one cool thing about her. If you don’t have a sister, tell me one cool thing about your brother.  If you don’t have a brother, tell me one cool thing about you.  The (one) winner will be chosen at random at 9:00 p.m. MST on Sunday, July 15. Only one comment per person please, and if no one comments, well I guess just more for me and my sister! I am not quite certain about how the contact information will show up in my comments, so if you are the winner it will be posted and we’ll figure out contact info stuff at that point. Good Luck!
Compelling Calorie Clue:

My brother, Jason, is a bartender and a massage therapist in SLC, UT and he would do anything for anyone, only a few questions asked. No really though, he would give the shirt off his back even before it was needed. Totally awesome, generous and super compassionate guy!

My sister is one of those gifted people that have a natural vibe with animals…she is amazing with them! When she was 12 she became the neigborhood dogwalker because she was so good with dogs and word spread quickly. She’s been walking, sitting, grooming and caring for almost every kind of 4-legged pet ever since. She’s training for her vet assistant certificate and volunteers every week at the local animal sanctuary. I swear, if she could move in there she would!
And she’s the most cheery person I know! 🙂

My sister is 71 and hikes regularly in the beautiful forests and mountains of the northwest around Seattle. The hikes include a few thousand feet of altitude so they are somewhat vigorous. She’s in great shape and sends amazing photos. She is an inspiration.
